The Aiken Center for the Arts’ Aiken Antique Show is one of the Southeast’s most distinctive events, well known as an enriching experience for novices and collectors alike. The show and sale, in its 19th year, not only will host its traditional antique offerings but will also explore how design can help incorporate antiques into contemporary homes. Design answers the question, "What do I do with that interesting Victorian chair that my grandmother left me?" or "How do I use this fancy silver dish that my mother gave me without having to use up my time keeping it polished?"
We updated our name from Antiques in the Heart of Aiken to indicate our expanded focus. We will be featuring many of the best antique dealers in the region, as well as including special workshops on design. There will also be exciting ideas and vintage pieces for gardens along with high quality antique furniture, paintings, lighting, and rugs. The show and sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on February 2 and 3 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 4. Tickets are $15 per person for the duration of the show.
Our always popular Cocktails and Collectors’ Preview Party on Thursday evening, February 1, will give visitors an opportunity to preview and purchase their favorite pieces, interact with our knowledgeable dealers, and have some fun with other antique enthusiasts. Our Collectors’ Café will be open during the show and sale, offering fantastic homemade lunches and irresistible desserts.
The Aiken Antique Show is the largest fundraising event for the Aiken Center for the Arts. Proceeds help to support access to the arts, arts education, cultural activities, and art exhibits, as well as community outreach and the Center’s day-to-day operations. The event enables us to fund scholarships for classes, camps, programs and art instruction, allowing the Aiken Center for the Arts to offer unparalleled learning experiences to interested children and adults throughout the CSRA. We invite you to discover the many things that the Aiken Center for the Arts has to offer, including classes, concerts, lectures, and exhibits, and many volunteer opportunities.
